The Pasadena Star News recently featured a front page article that offered tips for holiday shopping. One of those was determining in advance how much you would go into debt with your gift buying. Amazing! The assumption was that people would spend beyond their means. The “advice” was to decide to what extent. How about deciding in advance not to go into debt?
Budgeting and finances can be difficult–and sensitive topics. I appreciated the following blog post, with its description of eight statements that a budget makes. I trust it is a help as we think through the kingdom implications of our stewardship.
