We worship because God has called and made us to worship (Ps. 100:1-5, Ps. 29:1-2). The chief end of man is to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” (1 Cor. 6:20, Rev. 4:11) In simplest terms, we worship God because He is God. That is reason enough for us to give glory and praise unto His name. His power, glory, majesty, dominion, and holiness are all reasons to give him praise. Additionally, we worship Him in response to the many blessings He has poured upon us: namely salvation. When Jesus came to earth–fully God and fully human–He showed us what being humble and serving others really meant. He came and lived a perfect life so that He could be the perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
At San Gabriel Community, we desire that each member of our church family worship God throughout the week. When we come together on Sunday mornings (or other group settings), we have unique and blessed opportunity to worship God together. These are special and important times that we anticipate and cherish.
In our Sunday morning Worship Service, we worship God through song, Scripture, fellowship, prayer, and giving. It is our goal that God would be glorified, and that the church body would be encouraged and edified as we gather together.
Our music selection range is wide, from hymns to contemporary songs, led by our Worship Team. Each song selected for congregational worship reflects the truths of Scripture.
