One of the joys of coming together with the church family on a Sunday morning, is catching up with those we haven’t seen during the week. We enjoy each other and are encouraged by one another. But sometimes, at that moment at the end of the service, as we look around for the friend we have been hoping to talk to, a simple, but incredibly powerful ministry opportunity arises.
Recently, Donny Hoover shared this article “Making Sunday Mornings Uncomfortable,” by Rebecca McLaughlin, and I thought it was worth passing along. It’s a short but important reminder of the ministry we can—and should—have to others, even if it means delaying that conversation with a friend.
