What to bring:

Water bottle

Simple snack

**Please note for 5th and 6th graders:

We believe that 5th and 6th grade students are able to comprehend much of what is being taught in the Worship Service. We value family worship and so we encourage parents to help their children follow along and learn to participate in this aspect of worship. They will be able to join us after the Worship Service for the Sunday School hour.

We would encourage your 5th and 6th graders to bring a Bible and a journal for note taking during the service.

Children’s Sunday School (During Sunday School Hour):

During the Sunday School hour children break into smaller groups for more biblical teaching that is God-centered and Bible-saturated, and taught by trained and screened volunteers who are committed to discipling and training children to grow in their knowledge of, love for and trust in God.

What we are learning:

K – 2nd grade: We are systematically going through the whole Bible, pointing the children to God’s attributes in each of the stories. We answer the questions together of “Who is God?”, “Why can He be trusted?” and “How should I respond?”.

3rd – 6th grade: We are going through the New City Catechism. Each week we answer a question about basic theology, truths of who God is, who we are, and how we should rightly respond to the work of Christ on our behalf.

We would highly encourage all parents to download the free app and read through the New City Catechism with your child as well.
