Jonathan grew up at San Gabriel Community Church attending San Gabriel Christian School as well. During his time there, the Lord changed Jonathan’s heart drawing him to himself and saving him. As he continued to grow, the Lord placed it on his heart to pursue vocational ministry.
Jonathan finished his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical studies from The Master’s University in 2023 and is currently studying at The Master’s Seminary to receive his Masters of Divinity. Along with this, he is receiving training through his pastoral ministry internship at SGCC. Currently the verse that he is impacted by most is Acts 20:24 in which Paul says, “I do not count my life of any value, or as precious to myself, if only I may finish the course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
He enjoys spending time with his wife Dahlys, hanging out with friends, reading, art, games, TV, and woodworking. He also finds joy sitting with a cup of coffee and a good book.
