Michele grew up with a head knowledge of God through years of religious schooling but did not know Christ as her savior. During her years of law school in the early 1990’s, God brought people into her life who challenged her and invited her to hear the word of God preached so that it penetrated her hardened heart. God called her to himself while she was studying for the bar, and she was born again as a new creation. Praise God! Since that time, she has enjoyed reading many Christian books as well as studying the Bible – CS Lewis and the Puritans are some of her favorites.
Michele and her 2 children, Trevor and Faith, started attending SGCC in 2005. She met her husband Mark in 2019 at BIOLA’s Talbot Seminary after she was a student in his theology class. They married 5 months after their first date – when you know, you know! She began her work as SGCC’s Special Projects Manager in 2019 and finds the work to be varied and challenging – from facilitating the Master Plan to redesigning the church website and many things in between. She is continually thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to serve her church body with the gifts he has given her.
Michele holds a B.A. from the University of San Diego, a J.D. from Loyola Law School and a Masters in Management, Non Profit Organizations from Biola University.
