It seems that the Lord has laid adoption before me lately more than He normally does. I’ve had numerous conversations with folks asking about child adoption, and Charity and I are talking about it as well as we consider the very real possibility that Charity may not be physically able to have any more children. I have friends that have adopted and I have a few books that speak about both child adoption, and our adoption as children of God. It’s a very interesting topic and it’s one that is quite often related to abortion, as adoption is often selected as an alternative to taking a baby’s life. I then came across an article about the recent Homecoming Queen at Auburn University, a secular campus, and her story is an encouraging, God glorifying story of God’s providence through adoption and more.
